Your voyage. Your choice.

Effective September 22, 2026. AILoveSpace is operated by Alec Michel / AILoveSpace. For privacy questions or requests, email ailovespace@gmail.com.

Optional gameplay analytics

Usage analytics is optional and off by default. You can play and save without enabling it. In a configured TestFlight build, choosing to enable analytics allows gameplay and feature-use events to be sent over HTTPS to AILoveSpace’s first-party server at analytics.ailovespace.com. Preparing the server or a new build does not automatically enable collection on your device.

Events may include:

We use this information to improve AILoveSpace’s game experience and reliability. These identifiers are pseudonymous: they group activity without your name, but are not a guarantee that events cannot be associated with each other.

What this analytics system does not collect

It does not send your name, email address, contacts, Apple Account or TestFlight account identity, advertising identifier/IDFA, precise location, device serial number, hardware fingerprint, or arbitrary player-written text. We do not use this analytics system for advertising, third-party ad measurement, data-broker sharing, or joining activity with other companies’ user or device data.

Your controls

A change to the remote collection destination or environment requires a fresh affirmative choice. Turning analytics off stops future optional requests and removes unsent events from the app’s optional queue; your game save is unaffected. A request already received by the server is not recalled. Re-enabling creates a new random installation identifier; saved voyage identifiers may remain.

Retention and backups

Server events expire after 90 days from receipt through a scheduled daily operation. Orphaned installation and session records are removed when their retained events expire. Private daily database backups use a seven-day rolling expiry. A backup may therefore retain events after their deletion from the live database. Scheduler outages can delay deletion until operations resume.

Hosting-provider snapshots and historical infrastructure backups are separate from this rolling database-backup process. Deleting a database row does not immediately erase such copies; their retention depends on the provider and operator’s separate backup lifecycle. We do not promise immediate deletion from every historical copy.

Network and operational records

Internet services necessarily process network addresses. The analytics database does not store IP addresses as analytics identifiers. Routine analytics access logging is disabled, and temporary network-based limits protect the service. Critical server errors, security systems or hosting-provider logs may retain network details. Access to operational records and database backups is restricted; these records are separate from gameplay analytics.

Local saves, sharing and feedback

Game progress is saved locally; operating-system device backups may retain it under your settings. Optional categorical feedback follows the analytics choice. Free-form support messages are not inserted into gameplay analytics. If you email us, we receive the address and information you choose to provide and use them to address your inquiry; avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information.

If you choose to share a voyage card, your selected service receives that content under its own policy. Apple’s TestFlight, crash reporting and other platform services operate under Apple’s policies; AILoveSpace’s optional analytics switch does not control those services.

Privacy inquiries and changes

Contact ailovespace@gmail.com about this policy or your data. Because gameplay records have no account or email attached, identifying particular records may require additional information; do not send passwords or access tokens. Material changes to this policy will be reflected in its effective date.
